Nómada Fantasma
A bilingual platform for exploring Guatemala through tours, transportation, bookings, and a map of verified places.
Primary role
Product, architecture, and geographic experience

01. Context
Nómada Fantasma organizes information that is usually scattered across messages, social media, and recommendations. The experience brings magical routes, shuttles, and useful places into one map so travelers can understand their options and move toward a booking.
02. The challenge
- Unify experiences, transportation, and useful places without losing navigational clarity.
- Present local content in Spanish and English through consistent routes.
- Keep geographic data and booking flows verifiable before publication.
03. What I built
- Structured the platform around three decisions: experiences, transportation, and map.
- Implemented internationalization with language-based routes and localized content.
- Added testing, release verification, and a Leaflet-based geographic layer.
04. Outcome
The platform is live on its own domain with bilingual navigation, a San Pedro map, an experience catalogue, and booking and transportation journeys.
